Both Emanuela and Karen were amazing hosts. They were super friendly and made us feel at home. They provided great hospitality,serving beautiful home made food, I would recommend their cheese board!
The environment is so peaceful with an amazing view, including a sky full of stars at night. The lodge is super cosy inside and beautifully decorated.

Friendly, welcoming hosts. Beautiful surroundings. The private garden area was wonderful to enjoy a peaceful evening in front of the chiminea. An enjoyable stay. Homemade pizzas available to order made by the hosts were a delicious added bonus Thankyou

Don't even know where to begin!! The views were spectacular, which was hugely amplified by the firepit outside and fireplace inside the cabin. The homemade food like the tomato sauce, free-range eggs from the coop and cheese were made with passion. And that's not even to begin with how lovely and attentive the couple who hosted are. A truly magical place to stay. We will definitely coming back. Couldn't recommend enough. Please keep doing the magical job you are clearly doing. We love how special you made us feel . You've made memories for us that we will hold dear forever 😊
We enjoyed a most relaxing stay at the Byre. The location was absolutely stunning and the room was very cosy and inviting. Emanuela and Karen were the perfect hosts - very friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious and great to know that it was mostly grown or made at the cottage. I have recommended the byre to all of my friends and we’ll definitely be back for another visit - and more of the homemade plum gin!
A perfect little getaway if you’re looking for a unique and relaxing glamping experience! Everything is as described; very attentive hosts and I really loved the homemade food menu that was provided, the only regret I have is not having enough time to try any of the amazing produce!! Beautiful location, would recommend ☺️
We had a fabulous stay at Emanuela's place. The location is so peaceful and perfect for a nice long walks (don't miss the waterfall) and the place was ideal for a little gate-away.
A wonderful stay with absolutely lovely hostesses Ema and Karen . Food was delicious and great to be able to grab an evening supper at the cottage. We didn't want to leave !
Thank you for a wonderful stay here. The food was delicious and the amenities were great with lovely views and fire pit area to enjoy dinner watching the sunset. Emanuela gave us recommendations of hikes, wild swimming spots and things to do which was so helpful. Would really recommend this place.
